Renault's first R8 Gordini 1100 was released in 1964, featuring a piping hot 90bhp twin-carb version of the standard 1108cc engine. It was only available in 'French Racing Blue' with two distinctive white racing stripes over the boot, roof and bonnet. For 1967 Renault released an even faster R8 Gordini 1300.
